SpeakUPgrade Affiliate Program Rules

These rules are not final and may change in response to changes in law, platform policy, or business circumstances. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email with reasonable advance notice.
1. How it works
The SpeakUPgrade affiliate program lets you earn recurring commissions by referring paying users to the platform. You receive a unique referral code that new users enter at registration. Every time a user you referred maintains an active paid subscription, you earn a percentage of their payment every month.
2. Becoming an affiliate
To join the program, apply directly inside the SpeakUPgrade app or web app under Become an Affiliate. Describe your audience and how you plan to promote SpeakUPgrade. Applications are reviewed manually and you will receive a response within 48 hours. If approved, you receive your unique referral code and trackable referral link.
3. Referral tracking
A user is attributed to you when they create a new SpeakUPgrade account and enter your referral code during registration. Each account can only have one referral code applied. It is not possible to change or add a code after registration.
Trackable referral links (in the format app.speakupgrade.com/register?ref=YOURCODE) automatically pre-fill your code at registration. Referral links are valid for 6 months from the date of first click. If a user clicks your link and registers within 6 months, the referral is attributed to you.
4. Qualifying referral
A referred user qualifies as a confirmed paid referral when:
- They register using your referral code or trackable link
- They purchase any paid subscription (monthly or annual)
- Their subscription remains active for 30 days without a refund or chargeback
The 30-day waiting period exists to account for the EU 14-day right of withdrawal and to protect against fraudulent activity. Commissions are calculated only after this period has passed.
5. Commission structure
Standard tier — 30% commission
All new affiliates start at the standard tier. You earn 30% of every payment made by your confirmed referrals, every month their subscription remains active.
Performance tier — 50% commission
If you bring at least 5 new confirmed paid referrals in a single calendar month, your commission rate is automatically upgraded to 50% for the following evaluation period. This upgrade applies to all your active referrals, not just new ones.
Commission is calculated as a percentage of the subscription price paid:

6. Evaluation periods
Affiliates are evaluated on rolling 3-month periods starting from the date of onboarding. At the end of each 3-month period, your performance is reviewed by the system with manual internal input.
- If you reached the 5 confirmed referrals threshold in any month during the period, you maintain the 50% rate for the next period.
- If you did not reach the threshold, you return to the 30% standard rate.
- In exceptional cases, an affiliate may request a 3-month grace period extension. This is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
7. Recurring commissions
Commissions are recurring. As long as your referred user maintains an active paid subscription, you earn commission every month they pay. There is no cap on how long you can earn from a single referral.
Referral expiry: If a referred user becomes inactive (no active subscription) for more than 6 consecutive months, the referral attribution expires. If that user later resubscribes, they are no longer bound to your referral and no commission is earned.
8. Payout schedule
Commissions are calculated on a monthly basis with a 30-day delay. Earnings generated in month 1 are paid out in month 2, after the 30-day confirmation window has passed.
Minimum payout threshold: 50 EUR. Commissions below this amount are carried forward to the next month. Payouts are not made until the threshold is reached.
Payment methods: PayPal, Wise, bank transfer, or cryptocurrency. Payment method is agreed upon during onboarding. Bank transfer fees and transaction fees are deducted from the payout amount.
Invoicing: SpeakUPgrade provides an invoice to each affiliate for every payout. No action is required from the affiliate unless local tax law requires otherwise.
9. Self-referral
Self-referral is strictly prohibited. You may not use your own referral code to create additional accounts or refer yourself. Attempting to do so may result in immediate termination of your affiliate account and forfeiture of any pending commissions.
10. Prohibited activities
Your participation in the affiliate program may be terminated immediately if you engage in any of the following:
- Spam — sending unsolicited messages, emails, or posts at scale
- Fraud — generating fake accounts, fake clicks, or manipulated referrals
- Brand damage — publishing content that misrepresents SpeakUPgrade, makes false claims, or damages the reputation of the product or company
- Self-referral or manipulation of the referral system in any way
11. Termination
SpeakUPgrade reserves the right to terminate any affiliate account at any time for violations of these rules. In the event of termination:
- No further commissions are earned from the termination date
- Any commissions already confirmed and past the 30-day window will be paid out in the next regular payout cycle
- Pending commissions not yet confirmed are forfeited
If an affiliate wishes to leave the program voluntarily, they may do so by contacting contact@speakupgrade.com. Any confirmed earned commissions will be paid in the next payout cycle.
12. Geographic scope
There are currently no geographic restrictions on affiliate participation. This may be reviewed and updated in future versions of these rules.
13. Changes to these rules
These rules may be updated at any time in response to changes in law, business circumstances, or platform policy. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email with reasonable advance notice. Continued participation in the program after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
